On the bay of Otanlahti, right by the Baltic sea, you’ll find the parklike holiday resort of Poroholma. The resorts unique milieu, with its 18000-century Lace villa and tall ship harbor, provides the perfect setting for a successful holiday. At the resort’s high-quality caravan and cabin area, you can stay right on the beach or sheltered by trees. Poroholma also has Inns and a tall ship hostel. There are a number of restaurants at the resort, most famous being Puosus cellar. Poroholma offers a variety of activities, ranging from karaoke to cable wakeboarding. One of the gems of Poroholma is its tall ship harbor. Where are moored, the brig Gerda, Finland’s largest tall ship in sailing condition, and both gorgeous schooner Kathrina and atmospheric ketch Marita that operate as restaurants. The resort is a part of the Otanlahti Beach Park, from where you can also find many sports areas, an outdoor swimming pool and an open-air summer theater. Poroholma is also the official water bus port, with departures for cruises in the archipelago of Rauma. Kylmäpihlaja the lighthouse, as well as other tourist islands.

Old Rauma

Idyllic Old Rauma, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is within a walking distance from Poroholma. It is the largest unified historical wooden town in the Nordic countries. Even today it is the heart of the town, with little boutique shops, cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy. You can also reach Old Rauma conveniently from the resort with the city train Kake, that operates regularly from to the City center - Old Rauma.

Summer season from June to August

If you arrive with tent, motorhome or van there is always room for you. No reservations needed, just arrive to Poroholma and check-in at reception.

Winter season from October to end of April Poroholma is closed.
